Please read this refund policy carefully before purchasing our services.

Introduction

This Refund Policy applies to all services purchased from eComSkit through our website (ecomskit.com) or under a separate service agreement. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

eComSkit provides ecommerce SEO and related digital services. Because these services involve research, planning, content creation, and ongoing work that cannot be reversed once delivered, refunds are subject to the conditions set out below.

Service Nature

SEO is a long-term process. Results depend on factors that include search engine algorithm updates, competitor activity, the client’s website condition, content quality, and market conditions. While we apply industry best practices and deliver work to a professional standard, we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, or revenue outcomes. This is consistent with the Limitation of Liability clause in our Terms and Conditions.

Refund Eligibility

Full Refund

A full refund will be issued if:

  • Payment has been received but work on the project has not yet started
  • We are unable to begin the engagement due to reasons on our end
  • A cancellation request is submitted within 7 days of the initial payment and no deliverables have been produced or shared

Partial Refund

A partial refund may be issued if:

  • Work has commenced but has not been fully delivered as per the agreed scope
  • The client cancels the engagement mid-project after deliverables have already been produced
  • The refund amount will be calculated based on the portion of the project completed and any costs already incurred, including third-party tools, content production, or link placements

Non-Refundable

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Services that have already been delivered and approved
  • Monthly retainer fees for periods in which work has been completed
  • One-time fees such as onboarding, audits, or strategy documents once delivered
  • Link building, guest posting, and content placements once live on third-party sites
  • Cancellations made due to a change of mind after the 7-day window
  • Cases where the client has failed to provide required information, access, or approvals within agreed timeframes
  • Engagements terminated by us due to breach of our Terms and Conditions

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please email [email protected] with the following:

  • Your name and company
  • Invoice number and date of payment
  • A clear reason for the refund request
  • Any supporting documentation

We will review each request on a case-by-case basis and respond within 7 business days. We may request additional information before reaching a decision.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

eComSkit is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or third-party providers.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with a deliverable, please contact us first so we can address your concerns. We are committed to working through reasonable revisions and resolving issues fairly before any refund decision is made.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that engagement.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Southampton, United Kingdom. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts. This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK law.
